Uncrossing the Roads
Stand at the heart of the space, where the roads have crossed. Trace the crossroads once more in the air or on the ground, this time with the intent to unmake. Speak clearly:
Upon the path where four ways meet,
Where fate was turned and spirits speak,
I call the road, I call the way,
Let night be night, let day be day.
Lower your hands, press them to the earth or bring them to your chest. Breathe deep and whisper:
Gate unmade, thread untwined,
What once was crossed, now unaligned.
By stone and tree, by road and tide,
The way is shut, the paths divide.
Step backward, away from the center, sealing the space as you go. Scatter earth, breathe out your final intent, or snap your fingers to sever the last ties.
